Welcome to the Citation Game! You will be putting citation elements (Title, Author, etc.) into the correct MLA or APA style order.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Before you begin, print out the Review Sheet to use while playing the game.

1. Drag and drop the citation elements in the correct order for an APA or MLA style source on the lines provided.
2. When you think your answer is correct, click on the Check button to check your answer.
3. If your answer is incorrect, click on the Restart button, then try again until you get the citation in the correct order.
4. If your answer is correct, use the green forward arrow to move on to the next citation (there are eight citations total -- the first four are in APA style, the last four are in MLA style).

Note: You won't be scored on the alignment. In APA and MLA citation lists, the first line of each citation should be left-aligned, and subsequent lines should be indented five spaces. This game scores you based on the order of the citation elements, and not on alignment.

To begin, click on the green forward arrow at the top of this page.
