The Digital Humanities

Digital Humanities is an emerging field of study focusing on the convergence of computing, technology, and the humanities. This area of study encompasses the digitization of traditional fields in humanities such as the use of computers for data analysis, digital materials and other forms of interactive media, as well as the integration of computing in to the various disciplines of the humanities.

The School of Information & Library Science at the University of North Carolina has compiled a useful site on digital humanities including resources for faculty as well as a list of universities that are offering the field as a degree program.

I think that is a pretty interesting course to study even thought I was majoring in information system. Lot of people might find that kind of course very useful.
