The External Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Program at the University of Washington and Washington State University

Have you taken some time off from the program?

If you have not registered for more than a quarter, your student status may have changed to non-matriculated status. According to UW policy, ExPharmD students must register for a course every quarter excluding summer quarter to maintain matriculated status in the program. If you have not done that (and have lapsed into non-matriculated status), you must now complete a Returning Student Application and pay the processing fee before being allowed register for future courses through UWEO. The returning student application form may be found at: http://www.washington.edu/students/reg/returning.html. The University's application deadlines and policies may be found at: http://www.washington.edu/students/reg/roapps.html.

Students will not be dropped from their current courses and can continue pursing the course in non-matriculated status. Matriculated status is an official indication to the University of Washington that the student is continuing the External PharmD program of study and is required to be matriculated status in order to graduate. The reapplication process is a result of a recent policy enforcement decision by the University of Washington regarding changes to student matriculation status.

We do not have access to your matriculation status. You will only find out after you register again for a course.
