Faculty Development Program

Each year, we organize a two day faculty development workshop, featuring various topics.

2009 Program

Guest speakers:

  • Susan Johnson, MD, Associate Provost at the University of Iowa will give a half-day workshop on time management. Her presentation has been very popular at national meetings.
  • Carol Wiley (Carol Cassella), MD is an anesthesiologist at Virginia Mason. Her recently published novel "Oxygen" is about an anesthesiologist and what happens to her after an operating room disaster. This is relevant to anyone who practices medicine or just enjoys a great novel.
