Rachel Lazzar, MSW
Rachel grew up in Seattle, primarily on Lake Union and in Ballard and is holding down the fort on her old stomping grounds. She earned undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Native American Studies in 2003, and an MSW with a focus on policy in 2005 from the University of Washington.
Teaching Interests & Roles
Rachel is primarily interested in supporting medical and other health sciences students gain tools to address health care concerns and issues of underserved and vulnerable populations. This work is an expression of Rachel's commitment to social justice (including health equity, environmental justice, access to healthy foods and more.)
