Conjoint 515, Spring 2012, Interdisciplinary Health and Human Services Delivery in Rural Communities (aka: The Rural Health Class), is an interdisciplinary, one credit, non-clinical elective (selective) course for all health professions graduate students offered credit/no credit. The course has been offered in a variety of formats over the past 24 years always to rave reviews.

This year it involves five Tuesday evening seminars, from 5:30-6:50 PM, in HSB RR-134 (see class schedule). Two classes are devoted to case studies and discussion of these cases. The class will also involve an all-day Saturday field trip. We will be traveling to Port Angeles and the purpose of this trip to investigate the provision of health services in the community and the community itself.

A past student commented: "(The trip)...was the most interesting day of my third year of school." We intend to make that sentiment universal.
