Program Requirements

1) Web-Based Core Curriculum

Learn about the unique characteristics of underserved populations through a series of modules. Complete eight to fulfill the UP requirement.

2) Mentorship

Be matched with a physician mentor working in an underserved setting, and talk with them at least once per quarter.

3) Course Requirements

Preclinical and clinical courses you can take to fulfill UP course requirements.

4) Independent Investigative Inquiry (III)

Complete a III project with an underserved focus.

5) Community Service

Learn about the numerous ways you can fulfill the pathway community service requirement.

Tracking Your Progress

To track your pathway progress, we’ve designed a Pathway Tracker database. After completing each pathway requirement, be sure to log into the “Pathway Tracker” to select completed courses, web modules and all other pathway requirements.
