Complete any Independent Investigative Inquiry (III) Selective (1, 2, or 3) in underserved topics. III projects completed within the context of R/UOP or IHOP automatically qualify for Underserved Pathway credit. If your III requirement was waived by the School of Medicine, please talk to the UP advisor to see what will need to be done to fulfill this requirement. If the project for which the III was waived, you may be able to receive credit if it focused on issues affecting the health or health care of the underserved.
