Established in 1996, the University of Washington Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME accredited program which provides comprehensive training and experience in sports medicine. It is sponsored jointly by the Department of Family Medicine and Hall Health Primary Care Center, the University of Washington student health service.
Strengths of the program include four core primary care faculty members with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine, a world class academic medical center, a top-ranked Family Medicine Department and top tier NCAA Division I sports program. Primary faculty include Dr. Kimberly Harmon [Director], Dr. Jonathan Drezner, Dr. Monique Burton, Dr. Ashwin Rao and Dr. John O'Kane.
The fellowship can only accept applications from graduates in the discipline of Family Medicine.
