The University of Washington participates in the NRMP Primary Care Sports Medicine Matching Program. The universal application can be obtained through the NRMP or online from the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine at AMSSM.org. The University of Washington only considers applicants who have trained in family medicine residencies. We do not accept applications from pediatric or internal medicine candidates. In addition to the AMSSM application, three letters of recommendation are required.

The selection committee considers qualified applicants who complete the application process as outlined. Failure to meet the specified dates may eliminate the candidate from consideration. Personal interviews are required and application deadlines strictly adhered to.
