Instructions on filling out an Agency Support Request Form for FY2011 |
|
Federal agency requests seek specific funding levels for a particular federal program or agency that is of importance to the University of Washington. Agency/program requests typically highlight UW interests in specific competitive grant funding opportunities. These requests are not earmarks. Potential benefits to UW should be made clear in the submission. For example, the Department of Education TRIO Programs could be selected as an area of importance to UW that warrants advocacy. In this case, it would be important to explain the existing UW activities that are funded by the program and/or UW activities that could be funded through increased competitive grant opportunities.
