Here is an initial map of the Ahtanum planning area. This was printed on an HP755CM at 50% saturation. We are using this map to locate helicopter units by overlaying FRIS data on the ortho photo. Identification of potential helicopter landings is done using ground-slope information and the existing road network. No new roads will be constructed in the helicopter analysis, however, some existing landings will be expanded to accommodate activities on the landing.
