The Research Society on Alcoholism
The RSA serves as a meeting ground for scientists in the broad areas of alcoholism and alcohol-related problems.  The Society promotes research and the acquisition and dissemination of scientific knowledge.

The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Study Group (FASDSG)
The FASDSG has a membership of approximately 150 clinicians and researchers. The binding interests of our members are the desire to fully understand the etiology of fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS), describe the characteristics of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders at multiple levels, and revise             ways to improve the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with FAS and other alcohol-related disabilities.

NIH Strategic research plan on FASD
This link will provide you with the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism’s (NIAAA) outline for the Strategic Plan to Address Health Disparities.  Go to the section on “Adverse Pregnancy and Infant Health Outcomes Related to Alcohol Use” to find out NIAAA’s plans for addressing FAS and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, including a specific objective to:  “Develop interventions to prevent and mitigate FASDs in high risk and minority populations”
