This Web site was designed by personnel in environmental health, water and sewage safety, and consumer safety to widen discussion about risk analysis and risk management as applied to food safety. We sincerely hope that it will foster public understanding of the issues associated with food safety, and discussion about the government's regulatory agencies application of the sciences of risk analysis and risk management.

This Web site is an independent study project in Environmental Health in the Masters of Public Health Extended Degree Program of the University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine. It was conducted with the gracious tutelage of Dr. Bill Daniell of the University of Washington faculty. However, the following are solely responsible for the content:
