MONEY ranks Foster School #15 of Best Colleges for Business Majors, #13 for Best Value

The Foster School of Business ranks best in the Northwest, #15 nationally, and #13 for best value in MONEY’s Best Colleges for Business Majors. Rated for educational quality, affordability and college payoff, the colleges were ranked based on data from the U.S. Department of Education, Peterson’s, PayScale.com, and MONEY/College Measures calculations.

Graduates from the Foster School’s undergraduate program started careers earning an average annual salary of $60,000 and carried relatively low student debt thanks to competitive tuition rates. The Foster School’s estimated tuition, after factoring in average grant funding, was the second lowest of the 50 schools ranked. According to NerdWallet’s ranking of the 100 Best U.S. Colleges for Business Majors, graduates from the Foster School’s undergraduate program earned an average annual salary of $97,500 ten years after graduation.

UW highly rated for access and return on investment

The University of Washington also rose to the top for ROI among public universities, where graduates earned an estimated 20-year return of more than $531,000, according to MONEY’s list of the Best 25 Public Colleges for Big Paychecks.

The New York Times’ College Access Index ranked the UW 18th in the nation, and ninth among public institutions, in its assessment of top universities doing the most to promote the American Dream. Universities with five-year graduation rates greater than 75 percent were selected based on of the number of lower- and middle-income students enrolled and the cost of education.

Nationally ranked for business

The Foster School Undergraduate Program ranks among the best business schools in the country in U.S. News & World Report and Businessweek. U.S. News also recognized Foster for accounting, entrepreneurship, international business, finance, and management.
