With Summer quarter in full swing, Foster’s Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) is proud to present the class of 2019! Hailing from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Keurig Green Mountain, Sprint, and Starbucks, this impressive group of students has industry experience in consumer products, technology, consulting, and manufacturing…to name a few. To welcome the new cohort, MSCM faculty, staff, students, and their guests embarked on a three-hour long boat cruise around Seattle’s iconic waterfront. After several full days of new student orientation, the cruise provided a welcome opportunity for students to unwind and get to know each other in a relaxed setting. Beyond networking and enjoying the beautiful scenery, the boat cruise also served as a fun way to learn about the busy Port of Seattle. With tour narration via a Foster MBA alum, students learned fun facts about the area and got a close up view of the enormous shipping containers that dot the Puget Sound and the Duwamish river.
