Seattle Growth Podcast 4.9: Changing lives through music

“Music is incredibly powerful,” says Levi Ware, an accomplished songwriter and one of several Seattle musicians working to harness that power for a better future for the community.

Episode 9 of the Seattle Growth Podcast, season 4, examines how Seattle’s community of artists, innovators and social enterprises are intersecting to shape lives.

Levi and Stephanie Ware discuss the Melodic Caring Project which they founded to bring love and encouragement to hospitalized children through music.

And Curtis Romjue discusses First Aid Arts, an organization he founded to help trauma survivors recover through arts-based care. Romjue also had success with JUBILEE, the non-profit rock band he co-founded to fight human trafficking.
