Summer Podcast List for Student Entrepreneurs

Generic headphones We know podcasts help listeners build their own images of the story in their mind. The result is an active way for the brain to “process the information at the pace it is played.” That is tremendously valuable to entrepreneurs—particularly during the summer season when they are working on a business plan, seeking out mentorship, or working on a prototype or capstone project.

Still not sold? CIO magazine writes, “one aspect that makes podcasts so popular is that they provide a different perspective on every day subject matter. Listeners hear straight from featured guests and, through the dialogue, capture the intonation, follow-up answers and applications that are otherwise lacking from reading about “best practices” or “hacks” from the most inspirational experts. For entrepreneurs, this type of perspective can be worth a lot.”

With that in mind, the Foster School’s Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship presents the summer 2017 “Podcast List for Student Entrepreneurs.” The following podcasts are recommended by our staff and top entrepreneurial publications and presented in no particular order. We will include updates based on additional suggestions from social media, so be sure to bookmark this post!
