U.S. News ranks Foster among the elite – #21 of 503 best undergraduate business schools

UW Foster undergraduate students in business attireThe Undergraduate Business Program at the University of Washington Foster School of Business ranks in the top four percent of programs nationwide—#21 of 503 schools and #11 among public schools—in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2019 Rankings. Foster academic programs were also recognized for national prominence in Accounting (#19), Management (#24), Marketing (#25), and Finance (#31).

Foster #5 among top public business schools for earnings

Of the top 30 business schools, Foster graduates’ average starting salaries rank #5 among public schools and #17 overall. That’s based on an average starting salary of $59,800 according to Payscale. Foster School graduates secured positions with a diverse range of firms including Accenture, Amazon, Boeing Company, CBRE, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, KeyBank, Microsoft, Nordstrom, and PwC.

The University of Washington was also ranked #20 in the nation among Best Public Schools based on factors such as graduation rates and retention, student selectivity, academic reputation, faculty and financial resources, and alumni giving.
