Order tickets

Tickets to Freshman Convocation are complimentary. Entering freshmen and their friends and families are given first priority in ordering tickets through September 1. After that date, ticketing is expanded (via email invitations) to include the general UW community and tickets for everyone are made available on a first come, first served, basis.

Entering students receive an invitation to the convocation from President Mark Emmert in early August. The invitation contains an event code that allows them and their families to order complimentary tickets online via this website. A link to the Online Ticket Order Form is available at this page in early August. Students can order one student ticket for themselves and up to 4 guest tickets for friends and family.

Tickets for disability sections are also available. Seating is general admission. Purses and other personal items may be inspected upon entry.
