Student Coordinators
First Year Programs is currently seeking applicants for the position of Student Coordinator. The Student Coordinator in the Office of First Year Programs (FYP) functions administratively and programmatically in support of all transitional programs for which the office is responsible. These programs include Advising and Orientation, Family Orientation, Off-Site Programs, Freshman Interest Groups, Transfer Interest Groups, Freshman Seminars, Dawg Daze, Husky Adventures, and Husky Experience. This is a position of significant responsibility, open to all currently registered UW undergraduate students, who are available to work in a year-round capacity.
In order to apply, please complete the Student Coordinator Application. Applications must be submitted to the First Year Programs office in Mary Gates Hall room 171 by 5:00PM on Wednesday, May 7th, 2008 for priority consideration. The selection process will incorporate an initial review of applications; a limited number of candidates will be invited for an interview with First Year Programs staff members. The preferred start date for this position is on or before Monday, May 19th 2008.
