Innate Immune Effector Genes

Innate immune signaling and the actions of alpha/beta interferons

The Gale laboratory is engaged in ongoing studies to define the molecular mechanisms of innate immune signaling actions of RIG-I, MDA5, and other PRR pathways that regulate immunity against RNA virus infection. These studies include a specific focus to define the interferon-stimulated genes and their actions in innate immune programs in vivo within gene knockout mouse models.
