BSL-2 Status

The BSL-status of your specimens is defined in the investigator's Research Project Hazard Assessment Approval Letter.

The GCI Lab managers must be specifically informed of any BSL-2 specimens brought into the GCI Lab.

BSL-2 specimens can be used on any of the GCI Lab microscopes. In the case of the Widefield (room S542) and Confocal (room S543) microscopes, see (BSL2 - Confocal).
