The Collaborative for Instructional Development works with educators in partner GEAR UP schools in Washington State.  The Collaborative supports educators by offering programming that incorporates content, pedagogy, and university-K-12 partnerships to provide personalized support for classroom teachers, administrators, counselors, and GEAR UP personnel.  The Collaborative’s goal is to provide educators with an opportunity to improve their teaching practice, curriculum and/or programming to increase student achievement and ultimately improve college access for low income students.

The Collaborative offers:

• Opportunities to collaborate with colleagues
• Training on current educational research and best practices
• Time to develop and evaluate curriculum and instructional techniques
• Connections to the University of Washington
• Opportunities to earn credit/and or clock hours
