Axumawit Aragawi
Axumawit participated in the GenOM Summer Research project as a high school senior. She did her research in the Department of Mechanical Engineering studying "The Science of Cell Migration." Currently, she is pursuing a biology degree at Seattle University. She is an Education is Freedom scholar, president of SU's National Society fo Balck Engineers chapter and an IGNITE participant (Congressional Programs and Practices that Work award 2007).
