Yovani Llamas


Yovani Llamas, a 2006 graduate of Eisenhower High School, participated in the GenOM summer program as a junior and senior. He is now a junior at the University of Washington majoring in biology with and emphasis in physiology. In the coming year, he will be working on his medical school applications in hopes of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. He also plans to earn a dual MD/PhD degree to fulfill his interest in research, which he has been actively participating in since the summer of 2005. Currently, Yovani is conducting research with Merck & Co. Inc. When he is not studying or working out at the gym, he is acting as the academic advisor for his fraternity, Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc.
