Adam Koener


Adam participated in ALVA as an incoming freshman studying the "Relative Binding Properties of Biotin Derivatives with Mutant Strptavidin" in the Department of Radiation Oncology. As an undergraduate, he continued on as an undergraduate researcher throught the GenOM Project, participating in research through Harborview Medical Center. He continued to be involved with the ALVA program as a councilor during the summers of 2005 and 2006. He earned is BS in Bioengineering in June of 2007 and is currently pursuing his PhD in computational neurobiology at the University of California at San Diego.
