2011 Summer Internship Program with ESRI accepting applications now!

Students: Thinking About Next Summer Yet?

It may seem odd to be promoting summer programs in the middle of November, but our University Recruiting Team is already gearing up for Esri’s 2011 Summer Internship and User Conference Student Assistantship Programs. Applications are now being accepted for both programs.

Participants in the Summer Internship Program spend up to 12 weeks with Esri. Most opportunities are at our Redlands, California headquarters, but we sometimes hire interns in our regional offices as well. Interns are placed in just about every department throughout the company–areas that you might expect such as Software Development, Product Development, and Support Services, but business support areas too including Accounting, Graphics, and Marketing.

Complete details are on the Web site, including a new Internship Program Common Questions page.

Note: if you have applied for a 2011 summer internship via e-mail, you must also submit the online application to complete the process.

The Student Assistantship Program provides participants with a week full of everything GIS at Esri’s International User Conference, being held next year July 11-15 in beautiful San Diego, California. In exchange for helping staff with sessions, registration, and event logistics, students have the opportunity to attend sessions and network with GIS professionals from around the world.

Visit our Web site for more information, including a new video featuring former student assistants. Learn about the activities they were involved in and what they gained from the experience.
