Humble Feast is a pop-up restaurant that specializes in ethically sourced and simple fare. The UW Student Coop, now headed by the anthropology major Marion Siman, will be hosting Humble Feast on campus the second or third Friday in April. The Coop is also seeking sponsorship from the Campus Sustainability Fund for the event.
They are seeking a passionate food crew of students, staff, and faculty who would like to be on the production end of this at-cost event to bring people on campus interested in food issues literally around the table. Their first organizational meeting will be Tuesday, 12 March at 6:45 in Denny 401. If you can’t make this meeting, you can contact Dr. Ann Anagnost, Anthropology, for more information.
