Environmental Project Scientist Job

The Pioneer Technologies Corporation is looking to hire a full-time environmental project scientist in Olympia starting immediately. Pioneer is an environmental consulting/software development firm that is involved in investigating, cleaning up and redeveloping large hazardous waste sites. GIS is a key part of what they provide their clients.

Position: Environmental Project Scientist (Full Time – 40 hrs/week)

Prior Experience: None required (position is entry level)

Education: BA/BS/MS in environmental science, biology, chemistry, computer science, civil or environmental engineering or geography.

Location: Olympia, WA

Start Date: Immediately

Responsibilities will include supporting hazardous waste site investigations and evaluations, performing analysis using geographic information systems, organizing, managing and evaluating large analytical databases, participating in human health risk assessment evaluations, and other tasks associated with environmental investigations.

Minimum requirements include:

* Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills

* Excellent writing and oral communication skills

* Proven ability to work on and complete a wide variety of tasks independently

* BA/BS/MS in environmental science, biology, chemistry, computer science, civil or environmental engineering or geography
