Community Partners

It Takes A Village:
Geography Department Community Partners, 2010-11

During 2010-11 , Geography majors used internships, volunteering, and research opportunities to make substantive contributions to the following organizations—or received invaluable research assistance from these organization. We are enormously proud of our faculty and students for their demonstrated commitment to public service, on projects ranging from refugee relief, to tutoring in elementary and high schools, to making critical maps used in public decision-making and health care service provision, to helping out in food banks and immigrant service organizations
