job websites for geographers to explore

We hope that you have had time to explore the sample job descriptions to broaden your ideas of the kinds of work you can do with your degree in geography. Both the sample job descriptions and the websites to explore are listed according to the way the curriculum is divided here at the UW at this point in time.

Please note that these divisions are not meant to be limitations, but rather, starting points for thinking about jobs in these general categories. Be aware that other institutions probably use other divisions (that also may change), but you can use these categories to get a sense of the range of potential for work that geographers may do.
