Admission Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy Students
Selection is based on a written statement of professional goals and academic performance, as demonstrated by a professional GPA of at least 2.7. Candidates are encouraged to apply early in their professional program after completion of the first professional year to benefit from involvement in the group of geriatric pharmacy specialists.

Practitioners
All licensed pharmacists are eligible to apply. The number of practitioner students (post-graduate students) accepted depends upon the available resources and the strength of the candidates' applications. A major consideration for selection is a written statement of professional goals describing a clear plan for geriatric pharmacy practice. Other considerations are: evidence of continuing self-education, prior professional experience, and prior educational experiences.
