The certificate program consists of 18 credits to be distributed as follows:

10 required didactic credits
3 elective credits
5 clerkship credits

Grading Policy (revised 4/14/05)

To remain in good standing in the certificate program, students must earn:

  • A minimum grade of 2.70 in each numeric graded certificate course (including geriatric clerkship)
  • CR grade in each CR/NC certificate course
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 in PHARM 560, 561 and 562

If a student fails to meet these above criteria, the student will be withdrawn from the program. Readmission to the Certificate Program may be requested by petition. If approved, a student is admitted on probation.

A student who fails to earn a 2.7 or above in any senior care clerkship will be dropped from the Certificate Program.
