CSWE Gero-Ed Center Updates:
Specialized Gero Grantees Announced
The CSWE Gero-Ed Center congratulates the sixteen programs selected to participate in the Specialized Gerontology Program, which funds the creation of a minor, area of emphasis, certificate, specialization, or concentration in gerontological social work.
Nancy Hooyman Receives CSWE Lifetime Achievement Award
CSWE will award the Significant Lifetime Achievement Award to Nancy Hooyman, co-principal investigator of the CSWE Gero-Ed Center, for her “singular and formative” leadership in the field of gerontological social work. The award will be presented at the Opening Ceremony on November 6 at 6:00 pm.
Rosen Panel Presenters Selected for 2009 APM
Faculty and students from the three selected programs will present at the first Anita Rosen Panel for Best Practices for Gerontological Infusion at the CSWE's 2009 APM in San Antonio.
Take Action: Support Eldercare in Health Care Reform
