BSW Experiential Learning (BEL) Program

Apply for the 2008-2010 BEL Program by May 16, 2008!

The BEL Program funds innovative experiential learning activities with older adults in BSW programs. By embedding such service learning opportunities within generalist foundation curriculum, the BEL Program aims to recruit undergraduates to gerontological social work field placements and careers.

2008-2010 BEL Program Application Information

Faculty from CSWE-accredited BSW programs are welcome to apply. Only BSW programs are eligible to ensure that students early in their generalist curriculum have opportunities to interact directly with diverse groups of older adults.

Administrative Statement of Support
Download and print. This form needs to be signed by the social work program’s chair/director/dean and mailed to the Gero-Ed Center. See the form for details.

Indirect Cost Letter (PDF)
Download and print if your finance office requires documentation of the 5% maximum indirect cost rate (see RFP for details).
