What is the Gero-Ed Track?
The Gero-Ed Track is the result of the CSWE Gero-Ed Center's own infusion efforts. Beginning with the 2007 CSWE Annual Program Meeting (APM), gerontology will be integrated into the APM as the Gero-Ed Track. The Gero-Ed Center will oversee the Track and will continue to sponsor its most popular gerontology events. We consider the institutionalization of gerontology into the APM as a victory for gerontological social work education.

How can I be a presenter at the Gero-Ed Track?
Persons interested in submitting an abstract to the Gero-Ed Track will submit abstracts according to the guidelines outlined in the CSWE Annual Program Meeting (APM) Call for Presentations. This Call will be issued well in advance of the conference. Please check the Gero-Ed Center or CSWE Web site periodically for more information. Notice will also be sent out on various Listservs and in the Aging Times.
All submitted abstracts undergo a rigorous peer-review process by experts in the field of gerontological social work. You will receive notice as soon as the review process is complete indicating whether your abstract was accepted.
