UW Gerontology Researcher Directory
This group includes 170 faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and researchers involved in gerontological research and teaching at all three UW campuses: Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma. All six health sciences schools and several other schools and colleges on campus are represented by Consortium members, including Architecture, Arts & Sciences, Engineering, Law, and Public Policy. Faculty, fellows and graduate students are conducting research in biomedical, behavioral, social sciences aspects of aging at the basic, clinical and community level. They are also engaged in teaching gerontology and providing clinical care to geriatric patients in diverse settings. Consortium members have their primary or secondary affiliations at the UW, VA Medical Center, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Group Health Cooperative, and Harborview Medical Center.
