CONFERENCES

The University of Washington School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine provides conferences Friday mornings (8-9 a.m.) at the Harborview Research & Training Building, 300 9th Ave, Conference Room 117/121.

 

Accreditation: The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Washington School of Medicine designates Geriatric Grand Rounds educational live activity for a maximum of 27.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. (Each session is 1.0 credit)

 

Objectives: Upon completion of this series, attendees should be able to: (1) Describe new approaches to geriatric patients care; (2) Incorporate new approaches into practice settings; (3) Apply specific strategies that reduce negative health outcomes and improve quality of life for geriatric patients.
