Faculty
Lynn Bekris, Ph.D.
Research Assistant Professor
Research Interest: Dr. Bekris' research focuses on identifying non-coding region functionally relevant genetic markers that discriminate Alzheimer's disease from other neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Bekris has developed a molecular system that evaluates the functional impact of non-coding region genetic variation on neurodegenerative disease relevant expression. Identification of functionally relevant markers specific to Alzheimer's disease will help identify pre-clinical Alzheimer’s disease.
