About Our Donors

Every gift is important to UW Medicine. Every gift supports achievements in medical research, education and patient care. And, with every gift, there’s a donor and their story: gratitude to a doctor or nurse, for instance, or the memory of a beloved mentor.

In this section, we celebrate some of these stories — through profiles of some of our donors and through our special scholarships and chairs and professorships sections, in which our contributors explain what motivated them to create valuable funds for student and faculty support.
