Craig Tall Family Endowed Professorship in Heart Failure Research
Est. 2005
The Craig Tall Family Endowed Professorship in Heart Failure Research was established in 2005 by Craig Tall in recognition of the life-saving care he received from Dr. April Stempien-Otero and the entire team from UW Medicine’s Regional Heart Center. His intent was to help and support UW Medicine’s effort to attract and retain distinguished faculty in the field of heart failure research while additionally furthering basic research in this field.
Mr. Tall has a strong interest in healthcare, as well as a long history of generosity to the University, with contributions made to UW Medicine, Intercollegiate Athletics and the Graduate School.
Mr. Tall is expanding the capacity of UW Medicine’s Division of Cardiology and UW Medicine’s Regional Heart Center by making an additional commitment that will elevate the professorship to a chair.
