John E. Olerud Endowed Professorship for Dermatology Training

The John E. Olerud Endowed Professorship for Dermatology Training was established in 2008.

Under the leadership of John E. Olerud, M.D., the head of UW Medicine’s Division of Dermatology, the division has become one of the nation’s leaders in training dermatologists. To help the division to maintain that position — to continue to attract and retain fine faculty and students, to maintain one of the best educational programs in the country, and to continue to provide the best in patient care — the Oleruds decided in 2008 to create a professorship that would focus, in perpetuity, on dermatologic training. With this professorship, the Oleruds are enhancing their already significant legacy within the Division of Dermatology and UW Medicine.
