The Wilma Wise Nelson, Ole A. Nelson, and Mabel Wise Nelson Endowed Chair in Urology was established in 2000 with a gift from the estate of Wilma Wise Nelson.

The endowment’s purpose is the attraction and retention of distinguished faculty members in the Department of Urology. The chair also serves as a tribute to Ms. Nelson, as well as to her father, Ole A. Nelson, and her mother, Mabel Wise Nelson.
