Biography
Dr. Zhang received a medical degree at Second Military Medical University in Shanghai, China, and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
Dr. Zhang, a neuropathologist with expertise in Parkinson’s disease, directs a research lab that studies novel proteins involved in chronic neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as in the aging process.
