Biography
Dr. Elkon received an M.B., B.Ch. (M.D. equivalent) from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa; he’s a rheumatologist with expertise in the study of lupus. He directs a research lab that studies the molecular and genetic basis for autoimmune diseases such as lupus and arthritis.
