Biography
Dr. Kim received her Ph.D. in Education from the University of Washington.
She focuses her research on simulation-based education. Simulation is an integral training tool that targets healthcare providers’ technical, communication and teamwork skills for the purpose of improving patient safety and quality. Dr. Kim’s work examines the role of simulation in enhancing providers’ competencies that ultimately impact patient outcomes.
