UW Medicine Class of 1959 Endowed Scholarship
EST.2009
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of their medical-school graduation, members of the Class of 1959 are following a tradition set by previous classes: creating an endowed scholarship for students in the School of Medicine. In helping M.D. students in perpetuity, the UW Medicine Class of 1959 Endowed Scholarship aims to help to relieve the burden of debt medical school students encounter and also commemorate the generosity of the class’s members.
A note from the class: Our class is indebted to the excellent faculty and administration of the UW School of Medicine that continues to this day. They taught us to be successful and to follow our dreams of helping those in need. It was with great pleasure that we established our endowed scholarship for deserving students. Since most of our class is now retired, funding this scholarship brings one more satisfaction to our journey. We are thrilled to take our place in endowing the Class of 1959’s scholarship.
