Fredrik I. Lottsfeldt, M.D. Endowed Scholarship in Medicine
Fredrik I. Lottsfeldt, M.D., graduated from the UW School of Medicine in 1961. A bright young scientist, he’d been asked to return to UW Medicine as a faculty member and researcher in cancer and leukemia. Sadly, his life was cut short by an auto accident in 1965. He was survived by his wife, Joan Lottsfeldt. The Fredrik I. Lottsfeldt, M.D Endowed Scholarship in Medicine will provide current and future medical students with much-needed scholarship support while also honoring the intent and generosity of the gifts made in memory of Dr. Lottsfeldt.
