William Jenkins and Ann Ramsay-Jenkins Endowed Scholarship
EST.2000
The William M. Jenkins and Ann Ramsay-Jenkins Endowed Scholarship was established in 2000. As influential and distinguished members of Seattle’s business and not-for-profit communities, Ann Ramsay-Jenkins and William M. Jenkins (now deceased) believed in the power of education to transform individual achievement into benefits for the larger community. They had especially strong ties to the University of Washington; Ms. Ramsay-Jenkins is a former member of UW Medicine’s Campaign Cabinet and a former chair of the UW Medicine Board. She is also the former chair of UW Medicine's Scholarship and Student Support Committee. In funding this scholarship, Ms. Ramsay-Jenkins hopes that the students who benefit will, in turn, use their skills to benefit the communities in which they work.
